Wilmadell Barton

Wilmadell Barton, 84, formerly of Buckner, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Wilshire at Lakewood. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Buckner. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Buckner, MO, 131 S. Hudson, Buckner, MO 64016. Wilmadell was born December 4, 1921 in Bushong, KS to Earl and Della (Fitch) Reaka. She was a long-time and active member of the First Baptist Church of Buckner. Mrs. Barton loved traveling with her husband driving his rig over the road, across the country. Wilmadell loved caring for others and was a very giving person. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim and Rick Ashurst; son and daughter-in-law Donald "Bob� and Nancy Ludy; daughter-in-law Gail Ludy; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Robert Reaka, Lloyd "Duane� Reaka; sisters Mary Nelson, Dorothy Schneisser. Mrs. Barton was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Loy "Whitey� Barton in 1980, son Jerald Ludy; brothers Harold, Kenneth, Donnie and Clarence.
