Diane Basquette

Diane Basquette, 64, of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, December 16th at her home. Memorial services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, December 19th at Waldo Restoration Branch. Private burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Center Place Restoration School, 819 W. Waldo, Independence, MO 64050. Diane was born August 28, 1940 in Independence, MO to Thomas and Frances (Behee) Bates. Mrs. Basquette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Farview Restoration Branch. She enjoyed reading in her spare time and was a member of the Piecemakers Quilting Club. Diane is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald of the home; son and daughter-in-law James and Robin Basquette of Platte City, MO, daughter and son-in-law Anne and Brian Mundy, daughter Meredith Branstetter, all of Independence, MO; grandchildren Brianne, Adam and Jacob Mundy, Kari, Shelby and Weston Basquette, Kayla Branstetter; brothers and sisters-in-law David and Ruth Bates, Thomas and Norma Bates.
