Helen Battmer

Helen Carr Battmer, 83, of Raymore, MO, formerly of Independence, MO passed away quietly Thursday, October 16, 2003 at Research Hospital Belton. A graveside service will be 10 am Monday, October 20th at Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Fellowship of John at NBA Foxwood Springs, Raymore, MO. Helen was born March 9, 1920 in Rich Hill, MO to Denver and Vernice Carr. She was a long time resident of Independence, MO, retiring as a Vice President of Independence Savings & Loan, and moved to Foxwood Springs in Raymore, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son, William. Helen is survived by her daughter, Ann Bohnert and husband Phillip of Raymore, MO; son, James Battmer and wife Tamara of Overland Park, KS.
