Crystal D. Bauer, 51, Independence, MO passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church; 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd. Independence, MO. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO with a rosary at 7:30 PM.
Crystal was born December 3, 1958 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Donald F. and Bonnie L. Bauer. She was a graduate of Lone Jack High School and had attended Vatterott College. Crystal was employed with the GM Leeds Plant for five years. She enjoyed writing novels and poems and had two of her books recently published. Crystal was a member of St. Mark’s Church. She enjoyed collecting Eeyore memorabilia and she loved joking and sharing her humor with the people at Dialysis.
Survivors include her son, Jordan Bauer; parents, Don and Bonnie Bauer; brother, Fabian Bauer and wife Karen; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
