Marjorie J. Beals, 88, of Blue Springs, MO passed away February 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Manor. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Saturday, February 28, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Marjorie was a woman who had many talents and enjoyed working and being active. At one point she owned Beals Dry Cleaners in Independence, MO as well as Silkstone Manor, a flower and gift shop in Blue Springs, MO. She enjoyed vacationing, fishing, camping, scrapbooking, playing cards, writing poetry and painting. She was a funny and creative individual, who could always come up with a great one-liner! Her biggest passion was her family, who gave her more joy than anything in this world. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. and Georgia I. Walker; husband, Mark Beals Sr.; sister, Bettie Drake Veit; and granddaughter, Audra Demery Snyder. She is survived by eight children, Michael Romines and wife Rita, Patricia Demery and husband Clifford, Bill Romines and wife Mary Beth, Kathaleen Haley, Larry Romines and wife Autum, Sandra Thompson, Mark Beals Jr. and Randall Beals; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
