Bearl R Staggs, 85, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Monday October 1,2024. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM, with services following at 10 AM, Friday October 4, 2024. Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery following services.

Bearl was born on February 27, 1939 in Alabama, son to Eddie and Mildred (Roland) Staggs. On August 26, 1957, he married the love of his life, Shirley Davis. To this union 4 children were born. Survivors include his children Peggy Newton, Debbie Hanna, Dianna Staggs, Eddie Staggs; siblings Randy Staggs, Bobby Staggs, and Bonnie Newport; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Bearl is proceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Staggs; parents, Eddie and Mildred Staggs; and 7 siblings.

Bearl enjoyed spending time at the lake, fishing, hunting and in his younger years, water skiing. He love the outdoors and spending time with his family, he was an avid Chiefs fan and loved watching wrestling.
