Galen L. Beasley

On January 27th, 2023 Galen Loren Beasley abruptly decided this mortal world was no longer for him and left this existence for another dimension.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Eugene Beasley and Catherine (Cassie) Beasley; his older brother, Michael and numerous other dearly loved family and friends.

In his passing he has momentarily left his beautiful wife and best friend of 43 years, Deanna Lynn (Haworth) Beasley; his first born son, Galen Michael; his second attempt at greatness, Bradley Loren with his son and proudest accomplishment to date grandson, Paxton Tayte James Beasley. In addition, he has left behind many loved cousins, friends, aunt and uncle and many more he hopes to see in the future, but not a near future.

Galen was a collector of cool cars and cooler stories. He loved mostly all animals especially dogs as he was somewhat of a “dog whisperer”. He was also a retired Firefighter with Independence Fire Department Local 781 and by all accounts was a revered and stand up guy on the job.

Galen was a hippy, a biker, and an all around funny and cool individual.

More importantly, he deeply loved all his family and friends despite all of their flaws.

He will be sorely missed as now his wife has no one to beat in Jeopardy anymore, his eldest has no one to call to answer stupid questions he could simply google, and Brad and his grandson have no one to hang out with at the car shows.
