Barbara Gail Beckwith

Barbara Beckwith, 55 of Independence passed away Mon, May 14, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 pm, Fri. May 18, 2007 at Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO with the visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Mrs. Beckwith was born on Dec. 14, 1951 to Cecil and Mary Holland in Independence, MO. She had been a C.N.A and a C.R.A for over thirty years and most recently had worked at the Liberty Terrace Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter who enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Holland. She is survived by her husband, David Beckwith; two children, David Shull and Dawn Shull; two grandchildren, Brittany Shull and Neko Kirkman; her father, Cecil Holland, all of Independence, MO. One sister, Pat Keator of Indiana and other relatives and friends.
