Shirley Bellew

Shirley Lee Bellew, 72, passed away on September 18, 2014. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, from 10:00-11:00am, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. A graveside service will directly follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Shirley was born on December 11, 1941, to Herbert and Minnie (Burton) Pitney. She graduated William Chrisman in the class of 1959. She married her high school sweetheart, Steven Bellew, and together had two children. She enjoyed vacations with her family, tending to her home, and shopping. She is preceded in death by her sister; Darline Terhune; and son, Mark Wayne Bellew.
