Esther Benedict

Esther Benedict, 96, of Independence, MO passed away on August 23, 2007 at the Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Esther was born on April 19, 1911 in Moville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Moss of Mt. Pleasant, SC and June Cooper of Independence, MO. Esther is survived by one son, James Davis of Harrisburg, OR; one daughter, Carol Rogers of Oak Grove, MO; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the chapel. Burial at Mound Grove Cemetery.
