Tanner James Bennett, 18, Blue Springs, MO passed away Nov. 15, 2017. A Memorial Celebration of Life will begin at 10 am, Sat., Nov. 25 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Kindly omit flowers. Tanner was born Oct. 5, 1999 in Blue Springs, MO and had attended Lee’s Summit High School. He enjoyed all types of music and wrote and recorded his own songs. He was a multi-instrumentalist playing the ukulele, guitar, digeridoo and Indian flute. He also enjoyed skateboarding and his many friends. Tanner was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Connie Leven. He is survived by his daughter Ariah Marieann Bennett; parents Jon and Cheryl Bennett, of the home; sister Allura Sanders and husband Trevor, Blue Springs, MO; maternal grandfather Leslie Gibson, Grain Valley, MO; maternal grandmother Eileen Stacy, Independence, MO; paternal grandfather James Bennett and wife Carolyn, Harford City, IN; paternal grandfather Donald Leven and wife Kathy, Lake Lotawana, MO and many other family members.
