Russell Bergsieker

Russell E. Bergsieker, 86, of Buckner, MO passed away June 19, 2013. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Monday, June 24, at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016. Burial will be held at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Russell was born August 14, 1926 in Wellington, MO to George and Susan (Roedel) Bergsieker. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He worked for many years at Bublitz Machinery Company, which specialized in farm machinery. Russell enjoyed farming, which he did through his life. Russell was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margie Bergsieker. He is survived by one sister, Elnor Seitz; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
