Margaret E. Berry

Margaret E. Berry, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, June 30, 2006 at Monterey Park Care Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. Burial In Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner�s Crippled Children�s Hospital. Margaret was born September 13, 1923 in Emporia, KS to Ray E. and Elizabeth Jean (Thompson) Long. Mrs. Berry was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, the Red Hat Society and had been crowned "Queen Mum� at The Fountains. Margaret retired from the Ft. Osage School District having taught 2nd grade at Cler-Mont Elementary School. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Lucy Berry; grandchildren Kevin, Troy and Megan Berry; brother Charles Long and wife Maxine; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
