Francis M. Berryman Jr.

Francis Berryman, 92, of Independence, MO passed away January 13, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, at Mound Grove Cemetery. Francis was born July 5, 1925 in Platte, MO. He was a WWII Navy veteran, earning the Purple Heart. He then went on to a long career in retail and furniture sales, prior to his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Avanelle Berryman; and sister, Delores Casselman. He is survived by his son, Steve Berryman and wife Cindy; two stepdaughters, Sherry Vermillion and husband Pete, Shirley Warmington and husband Ed; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Marilyn Altman.
