David Bessette

David Bessette, 47, of Independence, MO left his loving family unexpectedly on July 1, 2018. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10 am at the chapel. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville at 2 pm Friday. David was born on May 19, 1971 in Saint Albans, Vermont to Carlton and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Bessette. After high school, David joined the Air Force and after 8 years of service he then joined the reserves.. For the past several years David was employed with the United States Post Office as a mail handler. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just tinkering around the house. David was dearly loved and will be forever missed. Survivors include; wife of 15 years, Marcia (Geib) Dominiack; parents Carleton and Elizabeth Bessette; daughter Shelby Bessette; son Clayton Bessette; step children Duke Callahan and Cassandra Dominiack; grandson Beau Benson; sisters Suzette Gagne an Carla Noel; many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
