Aaron Matthew Bethany, 38 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at the chapel. Donations may be made to Suicide Prevention. Aaron was born August 7, 1979 in Jackson, MS to George Glenn and Eileen (Poole) Bethany. He had lived in Mississippi, Texas and California before moving to Missouri. He had worked as a truck driver. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking he was also a softball coach and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by; his fiancé, Monica Weathers of the home; his daughter, Isabella Bethany of Parkville, MO; a step daughter, Morgan Weathers of the home; his mother and step father, Eileen and Bob Clark of Pottsboro, TX; father, Glenn Bethany of Florence, MS; a brother, Christopher Bethany of Forney, TX and a niece, Taylor Bethany of Raymond, MS.
