Beverly Jane Pruitt passed away on May 7, 2024, in Independence, Missouri. Born on October 20, 1933, in Coffeyville, Kansas, Beverly was the daughter of Lindsey Morris and Pearl (Kinneson) Morris. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
In her professional life, Beverly worked tirelessly and rose to the position of manager at Sears. Her dedication and work ethic were truly admirable, earning her respect from colleagues and employees alike.
Beverly’s true joy came from spending time with those she held dear. She adored going on trips to Branson, Missouri with family and friends, creating lasting memories against the scenic backdrop of the Ozarks. A true conversationalist at heart, she cherished fireside chats that brought people together in warmth and laughter.
Among her hobbies and interests, Beverly particularly enjoyed attending mystery dinners with friends and showcasing her singing talents at karaoke nights. Her vibrant spirit illuminated any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She also loved shopping trips with her friends and family.
Beverly is survived by a loving family who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her son, Clifford Neil Pruitt and his wife Judy Pruitt. Her grandchildren, Andrea (Rodney) Naylor, Neely Worthington, Jason (Kelly) Pruitt, Sean (Katie) Pruitt, and Lindsay (Mario) Banda will always carry her memory with them. Beverly's great-grandchildren - Ashtyn Naylor; Alexis Naylor; Logan Crist; Burkley Crist; Jayden Pruitt; Teagan Pruitt; Oliver Pruitt; Sam Pruitt; Addy Pruitt; Nora Pruitt; Cruz Banda; Nico Banda; Augie Banda - will remember their great grandmother's love with fondness as they grow. Her great-great-granddaughter, Ava Naylor, will be blessed with Beverly's love by those who pass it along to her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Pruitt; daughter, Lizbeth Pruitt; parents, Lindsey and Pearl Morris; and brother, Don Morris.
A visitation to honor Beverly's life will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence on May 15th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a Graveside Service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Beverly Jane Pruitt will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in eternal peace as her memory continues to shine brightly among those who knew and loved her.
