Julia Mae Bishop, 80 of Buckner, MO, passed away Mon. Jan. 19, 2004 at the Medical Center of Independence. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Thur, Jan 22, 2004 at the Buckner Restoration Branch, 2607 N. Twyman Rd, Independence, MO. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 - 8:30 p.m., Wed. at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Mrs. Bishop was born on Nov. 5, 1923 to Perry and Eliza Puckett in Phoenix, AZ and has live in this area for over 50 years. She had been a Cyto Technician for Johnson Laboratories retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Cytologist Association and the American Medical Association. Mrs. Bishop had sung for many years in the Messiah Choir and at many other musical activities. Julia was a loving and caring wife and mother, She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and had a very special relationship with her great granddaughter, Kristyn. Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband Jim Bishop of Buckner, MO. Two daughters, Ellen Elaine Kidwell of Independence, MO and Myrtle Fay Dodson of Azyle, TX. Nine Grandchildren, Charles Stanley Moore, William Hadley Moore, Julee Renee Spear, Toni Lee Trenolone, Tonya Dawn Dodson, Robert R. Dodson III, Tina Jean Dodson, William Lee Kidwell and Breanne Leigh Kidwell. Six great grandchildren. A brother, Harold O�Dell Puckett of Blue Springs, MO and a sister, Mildred Faye Brooks of Blue Springs, MO.
