Adah Lynn Bivens, 63, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17th at Carson Speaks Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18th.
Lynn was born August 3, 1950 in Brookfield, MO to Benjamin Franklin and Oreta (Siemens) Ferguson as one of three children. She attended Penn Valley and Central Missouri State University receiving an Associates Degree. She married Cecil L. Bivens on February 27, 1988. Lynn worked for many years as an artist painting murals. She enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home, ballroom dancing, writing poetry and doing crafts. Lynn is remembered as creative, very loving and caring, and dedicated to her family. She is loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Cecil; son, David Kalanges of Portland, OR; daughters, Kaleia McMillan of Independence, MO; Sabrina Stickle (Mike) of Independence, MO; Jennifer Eyer (Andrew) of Kansas City, KS; Dottie Crates (Chris) of Kingsville, MO; grandchildren, John David (Emily); Nicole Amador, Sebastian McMillan, Alexander Kalanges; Tristian, Tatiana, and Trinity Stickle; Gideon, Caleb, Ronin, Morrigan and Aerys Eyer; Hunter Frys, and Raylan Crates; great grandchild, Amoriana Allen; sister, Judy Cady of Santa Fe, TX and numerous extended family members that will miss her. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Etta Lou Noel; grandchild, Samantha McMillan; and niece, Natasha Hoerman.
