Allene Black

Ruby Allene Black, 77, of Independence, MO, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at Rosewood Health Center. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007 at East 39th Street Community of Christ Church. Allene was born February 7, 1930 in Wichita, KS to Chester A. and Clarice N. (Robinson) McClaran. She was a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church supporting her husband in his many years of ministry. Mrs. Black was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren dearly. Allene is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harry Black; daughters Elaine Day, Michele Black, Denise Little and husband Steve; grandchildren Sarah Day-Mallott and husband Willie, Leah Day, Staven and Falon Little; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Myrna Reynolds.
