Jacob Blair

Jacob Blair, 18, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 16, 2008. A rosary will be prayed at 5:30 PM and the family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday, October 21 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 Lee’s Summit Road, Independence. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at the church with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Jacob was born December 8, 1989 in Independence to Steven and Joan (Hughes) Blair. He was a senior at Lee’s Summit High School. Jacob enjoyed cooking, music, and writing, however will be remembered for his ability to love. He will be missed for his affectionate, honest, non-judgemental ways and his charisma that drew people towards him.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Joan Blair; father and step-mother, Steve and Monica Blair; siblings: Christopher Blair, Nathaniel Blair, Mathew Blair, and Morgan Blair; maternal grandmother, Nancy Hughes; paternal grandparents, Betty Blair and Joe Blair and wife Barbara; step-grandparents, Linda and Gil Madrid; and is loved by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. His sister, Jennifer Lynn Stephens, and grandfather, John Hughes, preceded him in death.
