Jason Randall Blair, 45 of Independence, MO passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from injuries received in a car accident in Big Sandy, WY. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 705 W. Walnut, Independence, MO 64050. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Monday at the church. Burial with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. Jason was born January 6, 1977 in Dallas, TX to Herbert W. Blair, Jr. and Bobbie Oniece (Patterson) Blair and spent his early life in Carrollton, Texas. He enlisted in the Army in 2003 and proudly served his country until 2012. He has worked as a field service trainer for Wabtec Global Industries, formerly Nordco since 2019. He enjoyed reading, playing games, and spending time with his family.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by; his wife Erlinda Blair of the home; 3 children, SusannaMarie “Cady” Blair of Lavon,TX, Ammon Blair and Harper Blair both of the home in Independence, MO; his father, Herbert W. Blair, Jr of Dallas, TX and 3 sisters, Michele Wiedemer of Dallas, TX, Amy Jensen of Rigby, ID and Jeanine Blair of Dallas, TX.
