Lucille Lavon Blatt

Lucille Lavon Blatt, 80, of Blue Springs, MO passed away, Wed. Sep 14, 2005 at the Blue Springs Care Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Sat, Sep 17, 2005 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7- 8:30 pm, Friday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep. MO. Contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Hospice or Blue Springs Care Center. Mrs. Blatt was born on Jan 15, 1925 to John and Ada (Clampitt) Lescoe in Chariton, IA. She had been a Floor Manager with Eriksen Company for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed gardening and drinking coffee with her friends. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Blatt, Jr. in 1985. She is survived by a son, Gary Blatt and wife Judy. A daughter, Karen Hammontree and husband Chet, all of Blue Springs, MO. Five grandchildren, Michelle Blatt, Erick Blatt and wife Becky, Paul Blatt, Judson Hammontree and wife Mary, all of Blue Springs and Brook Payne and husband Aaron of Lake Tapawingo. Five great grandchildren, Tyler Blatt, Haylee Payne and Triplets, Evan, Kathryn and Chloe Lucille Hammontree and also one great grandson on the way.
