Norman L. Bogue

Norman L. Bogue 59, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his residence. Graveside services with full military honors will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday November 16, 2006 at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Norman was born February 22, 1947 in Independence, MO to Carl and Arlene G. (Conner) Bogue and has been a lifelong area resident. He worked as a custodian for the Independence School District for 27 years until he retired in 2002. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam from 1966-72. He was married to Vickie Duckworth on July 4, 1987, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Cassie Bogue of Independence; a son, Christopher Bogue of the home; his father, Carl Bogue of Independence, MO; a sister, Linda Sass of Independence, MO; a brother, Dennis Bogue of Blue Springs, MO; 3 brothers-in-law Frank Duckworth, John Duckworth and Jack Duckworth of Ketchikan, Alaska; his mother and father-in-law, Jack and Sharron Duckworth of Raytown, MO and 3 grandchildren.
