Hadley Joy Bolton

Hadley Joy Bolton was born on March 26, 2021 at 7:54pm. She weighed 4lbs. and 4 ounces and was 17 inches long. Hadley went from her momma’s arms into Jesus’ loving arms on May 18, 2021.

Hadley is loved by parents Jason and Stephanie Bolton and siblings Joel, Quincy, Amelia, Molly and Titus; Grandparents Steve and Janie Davis and Richard Bolton; Uncle Jon Bolton, and Auntie Lora Carver.

Upon Hadley's arrival, she quickly captured the hearts of all those who heard her story. She brought joy to her family and the many NICU nurses and doctors who lovingly cared for her at Children’s Mercy. She also had a feisty side (a possible connection to her bright red hair!) and let her opinions be known to all who took care of her. Her time here with us, just 54 days, was filled with many milestones, each one precious and treasured.

A visitation to honor Hadley will be held on Saturday, May 22, from 1-3 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m., both at Sycamore Hills Baptist Church, 15200 E. 39th Street in Independence, MO. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Knox City Cemetery in Knox City, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the purchase of baby blankets for the Children’s Mercy NICU.
