Halys Boman

Halys Boman, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Blue Springs Care Center. Services will be 2 pm Saturday, January 31st at Speaks Midtown Chapel; with interment in Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 pm until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or KC Hospice. Halys was born in rural Blue Springs on February 15, 1922 to Richard and Miranda King Morris. She married David Courtland Boman on July 30, 1958 in Independence, MO where they made their home. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Independence, MO. Halys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Marvin Morris. She is survived by a stepson, Clifford James Boman of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Chris Boman and wife Melissa of Independence, MO, and Carolyn Denti and husband Lonnie of Blue Springs, MO; great grandchildren, Blake and Jacob Boman, and Montana and Brock Denti; nieces, nephews, extended family, and a special friend, Betty Chaney; sister-in-law and faithful caregiver, Nadine B. Boman of Buckner, MO. Appreciation to the Church Home Bound Ministries, Blue Hills Nursing Home, Blue Springs Care Center, KC Hospice and to each and everyone that shared in her comfort for the past year.
