Laurel Ann Bonine, 75, of Sugar Creek, passed away Wednesday, March 14th, 2018. A visitation will be held Monday, March 19th, from 9:30-10:00am with a service at 10:00am, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.
Laurel Ann was born November, 22nd, 1942 to Edwin (Pete) and Laura (Wright) Saxton in Independence, MO. She was a life-long member of Sugar Creek United Methodist Church. She was also involved in the Raytown Garden Club and volunteered for the Civil Defense Relief Fund. Laurel Ann owned and operated “Ann’s Artistry” in Sugar Creek for many years. She loved painting, collecting antiques, and animals. Laurel Ann was a loving cousin and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Larry (Joe) Bonine. She is survived by her cousins, Jim Lee and his wife, Mary Gene, Sandy Lahann and her husband, Randy, Raymond Lee and his wife, Patsy; her brother-in-law, Dan Bonine and his wife, Jan; niece and nephews, Carver Bonine, Jilinda Crowley, and David Bonine; as well as numerous additional cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
