Dieter K. Borchardt

Dieter K. Borchardt, 76, Kansas City MO, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2004, at Research Medical Center. Services will be at 10:00 am Thursday at the Sheffield Family Life Center; burial in Forrest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:30 pm Wednesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family will also greet friends prior to the service Thursday at 9:00 am. Mr. Borchardt was born on March 20, 1928, in Berlin Germany, to Kurt and Else Borchardt. He immigrated to North America and became the head of a large and wonderful family. He was Director of Food Services at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City for many years, retiring in 1988. Dieter is survived by his wife, Flordeliza, of the home; 10 children, Barbara Stauss, Berlin Germany, Lorraine Kozussek, Winnipeg Canada, Reinhard Borchardt, Washington D.C., Carla Kildow, Kansas City, MO, Michel Borchardt, Overland Park, KS, Felicito Bagunu, Lee�s Summit, MO, Romeo Bagunu, Jr., Columbia, SC, Rodel Bagunu, Las Vegas NV, Morel Bagunu, Stockton, CA, and Daniel Bagunu, Kansas City MO; 19 grandchildren; his mother, Else Dillman; his sister Waltraut Rotter; 2 brothers, Klaus and Jurgen Borchardt; his brother and sister-in-law, Tom Knutter and Ruth Calata-Knutter; and many other loving relatives and friends.
