William Burch Bordeno

William Bordeno, 90, of Independence, MO passed away September 23, 2019. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. memorial service on Friday, September 27, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Legion Post 21, Independence, MO. William was born January 7, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to William T. and Gladys (Burch) Bordeno. William was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Bordeno; two stepsons, Randy and Jeff Bordeno; and son-in-law, Dan Horn. William is survived by his children, Mitch Bordeno (Jayme), Joni Horn and Shawn Bordeno; stepson, Jack Garrison; grandchildren, Lainey and Eric Horn, Carlee Bordeno, and many more loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
