Mary "Anne" Boren (Conklin)

Mary Anne Boren, 78, passed on May 6th, 2022 under the exceptional care of St. Lukes Hospice House and her devoted son, David.
Anne was born on June 23rd to Mary Alice Meador Conklin and Warren Conklin in Des Moines Iowa. Anne married Barry Boren, her husband and best friend, in November of 1963. While Anne enjoyed a variety of hobbies, was an avid reader, and dedicated a significant portion of her life to her church mission, her main source of joy was being an integral part of her family, attending any event her son David or her grandchildren were involved in.
Anne is survived by her brother, Bill Conklin; son, David Boren and his wife, Michelle; and three grandchildren, Abigale, Rebecca, and Kevin.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Dale Conklin.
A visitation will be held at Beacon Heights Community of Christ Church on Friday, May 13th from 5:30-7:15pm with a funeral service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Luke’s Hospice House at 3516 Summit St. KCMO 64111 in Anne’s memory.
