Doris W. Borgman

Doris W. Borgman, 83, of Independence, MO passed away, Saturday February 18, 2006 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Levasy, MO. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Tuesday at the chapel. Doris was born November 19, 1922 in Pleasanton, KS and spent her early life there graduating from Pleasanton High School and then attending business college in Kansas City. She was a homemaker and had also worked as a bank teller for various banks, most recently Grand Avenue Bank at Crown Center retiring in 1979. She was a 4-H leader and enjoyed reading, cooking, and sewing. She took much pride in maintaining a nice home for her family. She was married to Ted H. Borgman on May 16, 1948, he survives of the home. Other survivors iinclude; 2 daughters, Nancy S. Barr and her husband Gary W. of Independence, MO and Carol Siegfried and her husband Ken of Leeton, MO; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Barr, Christina Leakey and Clint Siegfried and 4 great grandchildren.
