Theodore H. "Ted" Borgman, 83 passed away Saturday, June 24, 2006 at St. Mary�s Manor in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Burial with full military honors will be in Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Levasy, MO. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Ted was born January 15, 1923 in Levasy, MO to Theophil Frederick and Frieda Sophie (Knoche) Borgman. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. Following his military service Ted went to work for United Missouri Bank working for over 45 years until he retired in 1992 as Senior Vice President of the Installment Loan Department. He worked in the ticket office of the Starlight Theatre for 37 years, retiring as manager. He enjoyed sports; especially the St. Louis Cardinals, Van Johnson American Legion league baseball, and William Chrisman High School basketball. He was an avid gardener taking special pride in his tomatoes. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 1000 and the Ebenezer Church in Levasy. He was married to Doris Hewitt on May 16, 1948. Doris preceded him in death in February 2006. Survivors include 2 daughters; Nancy Barr and her husband Gary of Independence, MO, Carol Siegfried and her husband Kenneth of Leeton, MO; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Barr, Christina Leakey and Clint Siegfried; 5 great grandchildren, Madalyn Leakey, Jessup Leakey, Zachary Siegfried, Makenna Siegfried and Ally Siegfried. The family would like to express appreciation to all of the wonderful care givers at St. Mary's Manor, St. Mary's Hospital, and Odyssey Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice.
