Lloyd H. Boulware, 85, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, December 2, 2004 at his home. A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 3, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, in the chapel, with burial at Floral Hills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Boulevard Christian Church or Southern Care Hospice. Lloyd was born on November 6, 1919 in Fairmount, MO. He was part of the Greatest Generation, serving his country proudly and bravely during WWII and received four Purple Hearts. He was employed at Bayer Corporation for 23 years in the Safety and Fire Protection Department until his retirement in 1982. Until his illness, he attended Blue Ridge Blvd. Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lenore Boulware; son and wife, Bruce and Ann Boulware of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Olive Castle; grandchildren, Sabrena Lea and husband David of Raytown, MO, Stephanie Boulware of Oak Grove, MO, Megan Cheffey and husband Mylls of Blue Springs, MO; and his great grandchildren, Gracen, Jadon, Abbey Lea and Nolan Cheffey. Lloyd will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved him. "Till we meet again in heaven, we love you.�
