Upon his return he met the love of his life Phyllis Allwood and they were wed November 22, 1959 and to this union one blessed daughter was born.
Together they moved to Independence, Missouri where Bill began working at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 33 years before retirement. Bill, Phyllis and daughter Sheryl were like the 3 musketeers, they traveled to Branson, Nashville and the Smoky Mountains. They saw many shows and saw some of their favorite stars. Along with friends they attended country shows weekly. Instilling in their daughter a love of music and encouraging her to play several instruments. He will be greatly missed but will always be in our heart.
