Laura M. Bowling, 38, of Buckner, MO went to heaven on September 19, 2006 at North Kansas City Hospital. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 N. Adams, Rosary to precede at 5:40 p.m. The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Buckner Chapel. Burial at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Laura graduated from Park Hill High School and is survived by 2 sons, Carl age 17 and Curtis age 13, Bowling; parents, John and Linda Richard of Buckner; 3 brothers, Michael Richard of Buckner, Petty Officer 2nd Class, Adam Richard who is stationed onboard the USS Harry S. Truman Aircraft Carrier, Lance Corporal Ryan Richard, stationed at Twenty Nine Palms California; 5 sisters, Bonnie Jones of Buckner, Wendy Richard of Independence, Tina Richard of Buckner, Tammy Richard of Overland Park, and Julie Hellstrom of St. Joseph, MO; 1 grandmother, Cecilia Klesner of St. Paul, Iowa; 1 niece, Michelle Jones of Buckner; and 1 nephew, Michael Jones of Buckner.
