Orrin Keith Boyce, 85 of Chillicothe, MO, formerly of Independence, MO passed away on Sun. June 15, 2003 at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wed. June 18, 2003 at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home, with the visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Contributions are suggested to the Baptist Nursing Home, 500 Baptist Lane, Chillicothe, MO. Mr. Boyce was born on May 3, 1918 to Otto and Pearl Boyce in Omaha, NE and had lived in the Independence area before moving to Chillicothe. He had been a Driver for over 31yrs, retiring from the Kansas City Area Transport Authority. He was an army veteran of WWII and was a previous member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter Corine K. Boyce in 1992. Mr. Boyce is survived by his wife, Cathryne Boyce of Chillicothe. Two sons, Kenneth Boyce of Raytown and Roger Boyce and wife, Mae of Blue Springs, MO. One sister, Margaret Weber of Springfield, MO. Three grandchildren, Danny, Jeff & Rachael and three great grandchildren.
