Steven P. Boyer, 54, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Dec. 20, 2016. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the John Knox Chapel, 400 NW Murray Rd. Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. The family requests contributions to Village Hospice. Steve was born Dec. 24, 1961 in Kansas City, MO. He had many friends and enjoyed listening to classic country music and loved Diet Coke. He was a Catholic and in his younger years sang in the choir at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. Steve was preceded in death by his father John Boyer. He is survived by his mother Mary Ann Boyer, Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters Darlene Blundell and husband Bob, Shawnee, KS; Marilyn Kirn, Lee’s Summit, MO; brother Mike Boyer, Kansas City, MO; sister Jennifer Bendorf and husband Rick, Lee’s Summit, MO and many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.
