Willa J. Bradley, 88, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, August 26th at her daughter�s home in Blue Springs. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31st at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel. Burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. Willa was born November 11, 1916 in Buffalo, MO to Eugene Drake and Letha Ann (Hill) Bradley. Ms. Bradley was a long time member of the 1st Christian Church in Independence. Willa loved life and was very active with her family whether it was cooking for family gatherings, gardening or riding roller coasters with her grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress and made a quilt for each of her many grandchildren. Ms. Bradley is survived by her grandchildren Daniel and Toni Ireland of Blue Springs, MO, Janet and Jack Gillis of Blue Springs, MO, Leslie and Gary Birch of Liberty, MO, Tammie Ireland of Blue Springs, MO; great-grandchildren Chris, Ryan, Dustin, Courtney, Tyler, Trevor, Mike, Stephanie, Lauren, Dan; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Wilma, Dolly, Mary Lou, Joan, Frieda, Margie, brothers David, Warren. Willa was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Berniece and Ivan Ireland; grandson Jeff Ireland, great-grandson Steve Gillis; brothers Riley, Walter, Kenny, Theodore, Bert, Mack and sister Donna Fay.
