Judy Bragg

Judy Lynn Bragg, 60, of Independence, MO passed away on October 9, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born on January 9, 1947, in Unionville, MO to Hubert and Helen Terry. She married Darrell Bragg July 1, 1968. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacey Elizabeth Bragg; her parents; and one brother, Harold Terry. She is survived by her husband Darrell; one son, Douglas Bragg and wife Julie of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Wanda Cook and husband Larry of Independence, MO. Judy was close to her nephews and niece, David Cook and wife Karen of Independence, MO, Pamela Kirkland and husband Bob of Liberty, MO, and John Cook and wife Bridget of Elkton, MD; as well as several great nieces and nephews. Judy was employed by AT&T in Customer Service for twenty-four years. She had many close friends including those from work. She was a member of Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, Lee’s Summit, MO. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, MO. Burial to follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, the Woods Chapel UMC or the Stacey Bragg Memorial Scholarship Fund, C/O University of Missouri-Columbia.
