Caleb Brainard

Caleb Brainard, 25, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on September 28, 2018. Visitation will be 4-7pm Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Blue Springs Elk Lodge, 100 NE Brizendine Rd, Blue Springs, MO 64014. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm at the Lodge. Caleb was born on June 3, 1993 in Blue Springs, Mo to Glen Brainard and Julie Musgrove. He was a graduate of Fort Osage High School where he participated on the basketball, and track team. While at Fort Osage he went to state with both the football and track team. For over a year, Caleb was employed at Midwest Wheel Company. Caleb enjoyed sports of all kinds, football, baseball, basketball, and was on a soccer team. He was an outgoing people person that never met a stranger. He was also the “Fun Uncle” for his nieces and nephews sometimes to the dismay of their mothers! Caleb will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him and will live forever in their hearts. Survivors include; father Glen Brainard and wife Rhea; mother Julie Musgrove and her husband Paul; sister Jessica Buckallew and her husband Justin; brother Joel Stuart and his wife Chelsea; brother Darren Dalbey; sister Kylie Musgrove and her fiancé Scott Eckman; sister Makenzie Musgrove; maternal grandparents Connie and Larry Stoner; nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many friends. Caleb is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Glen and Gioia Brainard and maternal grandfather Jerry Winter.
