Donald Dean Brammer, 87 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, April 4, 2018 at the chapel. Private burial will be in Leavenworth National Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to the Kansas City Hospice House. Don was born July 29, 1930 in Marceline, MO to Earl A. and Irene Agnes (Mott) Brammer. He was a longtime barber in Independence and later Blue Springs, MO. He enjoyed working, was an auctioneer and enjoyed country music and playing his guitar. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include; his daughter, Sheila Hooks of Kansas City, KS; 2 grandchildren, Robert and Ryan Hooks and 3 great grandchildren, Robert, Ryan and Joi Hooks.
