Marion Joe Brammer passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022. He was born December 17, 1928, in Macon, MO where grew up and went to school. He then enlisted in the US Navy. He was stationed in Panama and escorted ships through the Panama Canal. After the Navy Joe moved to Kansas City where he met the love of his life Jo Ann Taylor. They were married on January 11, 1957 and in 1960, had their daughter, Patti Jo. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Joe enjoyed serving his church and the Community Services League. When he was not being the treasurer at his church or volunteering for the community services league, he was hitting up the slots at the local casino. He liked to travel, spend time with his friends, tend to his garden, work in his office, have garage sales and work with his tools. He was a loving husband, the best dad and a special Grandpa and Great Grandpa.
Joe was preceded in death by parents Bryan and Josephine Brammer, wife Jo Ann Brammer of 64 years. His 5 brothers Gene, Harold, Don, Bill, and Francis. Survivors include daughter, Patti Taylor (Clayton); granddaughters, Tara Salas (Chris), Amanda Cosper (TJ); 4 great grandchildren, Victory and Journey Salas and Teigan and Taysen Cosper; brother Richard, sister Iris Arnold, and many nieces and nephews.
