Brandon James Anderson, 36, passed away in Blue Springs, Mo on March 28, 2024. Brandon was born in Anchorage Alaska on May 6, 1987. Brandon graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2006. Brandon joined the United States Marine Corps that same year and served as an Aviation Supply Specialist under President Bush and President Obama as member of HMX-1 and being awarded the Presidential Service Badge until his honorable discharge in 2010. He obtained Bachelor degrees in both IT Technology and Finance. 

Brandon is survived by his son Gunner Anderson of Virginia, his mother and father Norma J. and Gary E. Anderson of Blue Springs, his brother Major Justin R. Anderson and his wife Liza of North Carolina and his sister Christina A. Becerra and her husband Zenus of Independence. Brandon, known affectionately as "Uncle Bam Bam," was a loving, caring and awesome uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Speaks Suburban Chapel at 18020 E 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM following the visitation. Brandon's final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery in the near future. A gathering will follow after services at his home at 3804 SW Brandywine Circle, Blue Springs. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warriors, American Heart Association and/or any reputable organization that’s provides needed assistance with PTSD.
