Charles Wesley Brantner, 86, of Lone Jack, MO passed away March 1, 2016 at his son’s home in Lee’s Summit. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the chapel. Private committal services will be held later at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Charles was born on Nov. 29, 1929 in Rockford, MI to George and Sarah (Hoskins) Brantner. He was a proud US Army Veteran serving from 1947-1950. He married the love of his life, Jeanne Platt in 1951. Charles was an Elder in the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) in Independence. Charles was preceded in death by; his wife Jeanne Brantner; infant daughters Brenda Beth and Karen Jo Brantner; a great grandson; brothers, Richard and
Gale Brantner; sister, Jeanette Cunningham, and his parents. Survivors include; daughters Debra Haines (Bruce), and Cheryl Pease (Carl); son Andrew Brantner (Carol) 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Church of Christ Philippines Missionary Fund.
