Brenda Brim, 53, passed away on January 01, 2024, in Independence, MO. She was born on September 01, 1970, in Kansas City, MO to Ronald and Melba (Hatley) Brim Sr. Brenda was proudly a certified medical technician and loved working with her patients just as much as they enjoyed working with her. She was a hard worker and loved her job, she was quick to help whenever they needed her for the sake of her patients. She was an incredibly strong woman who would do anything to help anyone. Brenda had a help first mindset, if she was able to help, even in the littlest of ways, she was there to help you. She appreciated the little things and was forever thankful for even small gestures and gifts from her kids, especially flowers fresh out of the yard. Brenda loved crafting, sewing, and needle point. She enjoyed listening to country and rock and roll. Brenda drove a big red expedition named Clifford and couldn’t love it more, keeping it running forever.
Brenda is survived by her kids Ryan Johnston and Britney Johnston, grandkids, Elaina, Haylee, Austin Jr, Penelope, Charlotte, and Ava, dad Ronald Brim Sr, brother Ronald Brim Jr, the love of her life Bill Killham, and nieces Angelica Brim , Shelby Wilkes, Cassie Stock and Carmen Brim. She is preceded in death by her mother Melba Brim and grandma Mary Hatley.
A visitation for Brenda will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 11, 2024, at Carson-Speaks Funeral Home (1501 W. Lexington Independence, MO). Funeral service will be held the following morning at 10:00 a.m. at Carson-Speaks Funeral Home with burial following at Mount Washington Cemetery.
