Brenda Lee Christy

Brenda Lee Christy, of Blue Springs, MO, was called Home on January 30, 2024 from Centerpoint Medical Center with her family by her side as she left this world.  She was born on July 2, 1958 to Noval Lee and Jo Ellen (Maxon) Dinnwiddie.  She had much love for her family and loved to travel and live life to the fullest.  Her favorite place was Bradenton, Florida where she had spent the last 5 years of winter.  She also loved to swim and ride on their Harley until she could no longer.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Noval Lee and Jo Ellen Dinwiddie.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, David Christy, of the home; son, David (Angelique) Christy, Jr. of Independence, MO; daughter, Cynthia Christy (Jeff) O'Rourke of Pleasant Hill, MO; brother, Rick (Tracy) Dinwiddie of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Linda Dinwiddie (Ralph) Tull of Independence, MO; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 6 bonus grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

Brenda was greatly loved and will be missed.  You got your wings, Beautiful Mom.  Fly high.
