ELSIE M. BRENTS
Elsie M. Brents, 92, Camdenton, MO, formerly of Raytown, MO, passed away Jan. 23, 2013. Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am, before the service at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Hospice Compassus, 4681 Osage Beach Pkwy., Osage Beach, MO 64065.
Elsie was born on Jan. 5, 1921 in Frederic, WI. She lived in Raytown, MO and over the course of her career she worked at Valomilk Candy Co., Rival Corp., Western Electric and AT&T. In recent years she attended the Faith Baptist Church in Climax Springs, MO. She loved gardening, crocheting and walking for exercise.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Roy Brents, two brothers, three sisters and grandson Michael William Ideker. She is survived by daughter Carol Ideker and husband Stan, Climax Springs, MO; son Rodney Brents and wife Victoria, Lisbon Falls, ME; sister Mable Woodicka and husband Chuck, St. Paul, MN; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many other family members.
