Lois F. Bridges

Lois F. Bridges 94 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday January 24, 2007. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Carson-Speaks chapel followed by a private graveside service at Mound Grove Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Crossroads Hospice. Lois was born October 22, 1912 in Sugar Creek, MO to Joseph H. and Stella Underwood Allen and has been a lifelong area resident attending public schools and graduating from Northeast High School. She enjoyed fishing, playing the organ and singing with the Sweet Adeline�s. She had formerly attended the Community of Christ Stone Church. She was married to Rolla Bridges in 1932, he passed away in 1983. Survivors include; a son, Roger Bridges and his wife Mary of Independence, MO; a sister, Marilyn Oberkrome and her husband Bill of Chillicothe, MO; a brother, Billy Allen and his wife Betty of Blue Springs. MO; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
