Josephine "Jo" Brightwell

Josephine "Jo� Brightwell, 83, of Trenton, MO, formerly of Independence passed away Wednesday, August 31st at Wright Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6th at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Josephine was born June 5, 1922 in Sugar Creek, MO to Walter H. and Anna C. (Chartmitz) McIntosh. Mrs. Brightwell was a long time member of Blue Ridge Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing in her spare time and loved spending time with her family and nieces. Josephine and her husband spent their winters in Donna, TX and traveled together throughout the U.S. Mrs. Brightwell is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Gertrude and Clyde Kidd, nieces Jo Haney and husband Gary, Sharon Thornton and husband John Rhoda; great-nephews Mark Haney and Robert Haney. She was preceded in death by her husband Stan Brightwell in 2001.
