Pete Brisbin, 54, of Pleasant Hill, MO went to be with his Lord on August 4, 2013. A visitation will take place from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Suburban Chapel on Friday, August 9, 2013. Burial to follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Pete was born October 8, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to James and Delores Brisbin. He owned Blue Valley Interiors for 25 years. Pete was a man after God’s own heart. He left an impact on all who knew him. He fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith. He will be missed dearly. Pete was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diana Brisbin; nephew, Jeffery Simpson; and niece Teresa Brisbin. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sherry Brisbin; brothers, Jim Brisbin and wife Vickie of Cherokee, KS, John Brisbin and wife Lisa of Bates City, MO, Daniel Brisbin of Sugar Creek, MO; sisters, Kathy Sims and Ron Wilds of Grain Valley, MO, Judy Wilkerson and husband Larry of Lee’s Summit, MO, Debbie Brisbin of Sugar Creek, MO, Jeanne Boston and husband Robert of Independence, MO; and Carol Simpson and husband Jeff of Blue Springs, MO; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
